Xiaomi 17 Ultra Launched: Xiaomi’s foothold into the premium smartphone market was reconfirmed by the unveiling of Xiaomi 17 Ultra in India. The Xiaomi 17 series was first showcased at the global Mobile World Congress event held in 2026; only later was the Ultra model marketed in India. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Processor

In India, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra marks a first for Xiaomi on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The new processor, supported by a 3nm fabrication process, has clock speeds from 3.63GHz up to 4.6GHz. Components like the Hexagon NPU bring in the latest in AI processing, and the X85 5G Modem RF System enables best network performance. Together, the hardware promises a lightning-like performance to gaming, multitasking, and heavy applications.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra keeps running commendably during long game-playing sprees, courtesy of its 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop cooling system. The phone contains the Adreno 840 GPU that allows it to produce high frame rates and deliver immersive visuals.
